Day and Night

Description

Just another program like WorldClock or TerraChrone: That's what you'll possibly think, when you see the well known start up window with the day-night-border on the world map.

Day & Night is designed for users who want to know more; the program shows animations with the movement of the day-night-border, sun and moon, and 7 windows with data and graphics.

The windows of Day & Night show:

• world map
• horizon
• sun and moon (coordinates, times, etc.)
• diagram rise and setting
• diagram twilight
• times rise and setting (table)
• map of Germany
• earth's seasons
• Help for all menu items

Requirements

Fat binary. The computed data are nearly as accurate as in astronomical almanacs. The documentation comprises a handbook and background information (at present in German only but the application itself seems to be in both English and German).
