Description

This tutorial assumes a broad knowledge of the verbal system as in Gardiner, Egyptian Grammar, but that you have been taught this in the knowledge that not everything in that famous book must be treated as gospel. You should be conversant with the different forms od the verb, although you are not expected at this stage to be able to explain them all coherently.

Most of the parts of the verb will be found here, but you should above all be familiar with the forms of the suffix conjugation. You should also be familiar with the Egyptian concept of the non-verbal sentence, and the notions of subject and predicate.
