A Little About Elfenheim

Elfenheim was set up as a means of communication between pagans so that we may all learn more about each other and our paths. The idea is to create a forum for folk to exchange views and ideas, a space for discussions and debates where we can we swap ideas, stories, teaching methods, likes, and dislikes, rants and raves.

It will be updated regularly and changes may be made as we go along according to your needs. For example you may want a "What's on" guide at a later date.

Pagans of all paths are welcome to join in.

Who is responsible for Elfenheim?

My name is Steph, I have been a Pagan for many years now, but only started to study my beliefs in 1987. I started out studying Wicca with the Galdraheim Coven, see links below, but although the course was extremely good, I soon found that Wicca was not for me. I looked around at other pagan paths but none struck a chord, until I came across the Northern Traditions in 1989, or rather they came across me. However, I would like Elfenheim to be a site for all pagans, whatever their path.

One day, while surfing the net, I found a 'New Age' forum, where I met a handful of folk who wanted to know more about the Pagan ways but were not happy with discussing this in an open forum, so we decided to start of a virtual teaching group on egroups, and called it Pagan Moot (see our links page, for further details). Within a few short months Pagan Moot started to grow, a web page was called for. But, for although I walk the path of the Norse, I wanted to create a site that gave new comers access to paganism while, at the same time giving experienced pagans the opportunity to share their veiws and tell a little of the paths that they walk, without having to join a group. Of course, should you enjoy this site and want to learn more you will be more than welcome to join Pagan Moot, where we have a continually evolving course on Basic Paganism and short discourses on most things from elements to shamanic drumming.

In the end, however the responsibility is yours, for without your views and news it would be a rather one sided matter. Elfenheim is happy for you to submit articles, poetry, letters and artwork click on the Contact Elfenheim link (below) for guidelines and address. So get reading and then get your fingers on that keyboard, for Elfenheim really wants to hear from you.
